We recently completed a research-based Feasibility Study for Yakima Chief Hops to determine the potential for turning hop waste, cow manure, and wood waste into renewable natural gas (RNG) and food-grade CO2, funded by a USDA SBIR grant. This project has led to additional research around creating food-grade CO2 from unorthodox organic sources.
Other research includes tree counting in established orchards and a tree nursery using drone imagery.
Significant money is available through the USDA and other sources to help you grow and expand your farm services, including creating renewable energy from your ag waste. We provide grant writing services and help you navigate the process of obtaining funding from the government.
